March has been a month of action and impact! From leading the charge on International Women's Day through our social media campaign, to advocating for girls' education and online safety, our team has been tirelessly advancing our mission to empower women and girls in technology and entrepreneurship.
One of my key takeaways was optimizing social media marketing. I revamped the social media profiles of my business, posted consistently, and crafted engaging content. This resulted in a significant increase in followers and customer engagement.
For me, the facilitators/speakers were incredibly inspiring. Hearing from industry experts and successful entrepreneurs provided a unique perspective and motivated me to aim higher in my business endeavours especially in this digital era.
Through the program, I connected with fellow entrepreneurs and industry experts. These connections are important to build collaborations that can increase my customer base.
Due to the positive impact and strong feedback from both mentors and mentees, the TechsiStars Mentorship Program has been extended until October, offering more opportunities for growth and skill development.
The SecureTechsiStars Project, led by Young Female Influencers (YFI) in partnership with Plan International Ghana and She Leads, is empowering women and girls in Ghana with essential digital skills to thrive in the digital economy and STEM fields. Through engaging training sessions, participants gained confidence, digital literacy, and the inspiration to encourage their daughters to pursue careers in technology. This initiative is sparking generational change, bridging the gender gap in IT, and building a brighter, more inclusive future.
Paahibu Space has had an incredible year, launching our official website, empowering 14 community ambassadors across Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda, and securing 10 impactful partnerships. We trained over 150 women in digital skills, connected 30 mentees to mentors through the TechSistars program, and certified 20 female entrepreneurs in project management. Together, we’re fostering innovation, driving digital inclusion, and building a brighter future for women and communities.
