Breaking barriers and building futures through technology, mentorship, and entrepreneurship.

Paahibu Space is a youth-led, women-centered non-profit organization committed to bridging the gender gap in digital access, economic empowerment, and leadership. We equip women-owned businesses, female entrepreneurs and girls with the competencies to leverage technology for business and career growth.
Founded in 2020, we aim to unite women, girls and young people into an organized tech and entrepreneurship environment. Our work directly tackles the economic, social, environmental and digital inequalities that hinder women’s participation in the workforce, leadership and business ecosystem.
A world where African women and girls thrive in STEAME and leadership, addressing community and global challenges through technology.
We equip businesses and nonprofits with the competencies to leverage technology, while educating and empowering African women and girls in STEAM, innovation, and leadership with a vision to reach millions more across the continent.
A world where all people can lead free and dignified lives by inviting people everywhere to access, innovate, connect, and transform communities and systems sustainably.
We see the tangible impact in the lives of women we support. We witness young girls developing tech solutions, and female entrepreneurs creating job opportunities.
Technology Should Reflect the People Expected to Live With It

Gender gap in internet access in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Of businesses in Africa are run by women, yet they receive only 7% of funding.
Women and girls are not simply users of technology. They are students, entrepreneurs, workers, creators, community leaders and problem-solvers whose experiences should influence how technology is designed, governed and used.
Yet unequal access, online harms, limited representation and exclusion from technology decision-making continue to shape who benefits from digital transformation.
Paahibu Space works to increase the participation and agency of girls and women across the technology ecosystem—from strengthening digital and AI capabilities and creating safer pathways for online participation to supporting women entrepreneurs to use technology and involving girls and women in developing locally relevant solutions. We believe better technology is built when the people affected by it have meaningful opportunities to shape it.
We are committed to long-term impact through financial independence, program scalability, and leadership development. Join us in creating lasting change for African women in tech.
